Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the CyberTool service. By creating an account, you accept them in full.

Last updated: 2026-04-28

1. Purpose of the service

CyberTool is a SaaS cybersecurity platform aimed at cyber agencies, MSPs and SMBs. It provides continuous monitoring of website security (SSL/TLS, DNS, HTTP headers, blacklists, WordPress vulnerabilities) and orchestrates artificial-intelligence agents to drive your security posture.

2. Acceptance and changes

Use of the service implies acceptance of these terms. We may amend them at any time; material changes are notified to you by email with 30 days' prior notice. Failing termination during that notice period, you are deemed to accept the new terms.

3. Account creation

  • Access is reserved to adults with full legal capacity.
  • You warrant the accuracy of the information provided at registration.
  • You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Any use made from your account is deemed to have been made by you.

4. Scope of scanning — authorisation

By adding a website to the platform, you declare that you:

  • are the owner of the domain or are authorised by its owner to have the site scanned,
  • authorise CyberTool to perform non-intrusive scans (public reading of headers, certificates, DNS and lightweight fingerprinting),
  • take responsibility for the declared scope (declaring a site without authorisation engages your liability).

CyberTool does not perform any active penetration testing or vulnerability exploitation without a separate written agreement.

5. Acceptable use

Users undertake in particular not to:

  • scan domains they are not authorised to test,
  • use the service to conduct attacks, exploit third-party vulnerabilities, or exfiltrate data,
  • circumvent quotas, rate-limits, the authentication system or payment protections,
  • resell or redistribute the service without a written agreement (a dedicated reseller partnership is available),
  • create multiple accounts to claim the signup credits more than once.

6. AI credits and quotas

  • Each account starts with 2,000 free AI credits (no expiry).
  • Paid plans include a monthly credit quota that resets at the start of each period.
  • Unused credits do not roll over from one month to the next, except for credits purchased through a booster pack (no expiry).
  • Once credits are exhausted, AI agents are temporarily unavailable until top-up or upgrade to a higher plan.

7. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance may occur with at least 24 hours' notice (except for security emergencies). We are not liable for downtime caused by our third-party subprocessors (Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Stripe, Anthropic).

8. Intellectual property

All elements making up the platform (code, design, trade marks, logos, AI agents, prompts, report templates) are the exclusive property of [TO COMPLETE: CyberTool SAS]. Users receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, limited to the duration of their subscription. The findings and reports generated belong to the user, who may use them freely (including for resale by service providers).

9. Liability

CyberTool is a decision-support tool. It does not relieve users of their own security obligations. The absence of findings on a site does not amount to a guarantee of absolute security.

Save for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, our liability is capped at the amount actually paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the triggering event.

10. Termination

Users may terminate their account at any time from their settings. For paid subscriptions, termination takes effect at the end of the current period (no pro-rata refund).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of serious breach of these terms, after a formal notice that has remained without effect for 7 days.

11. Personal data

Processing of your personal data is detailed in our privacy policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [TO COMPLETE: registered office jurisdiction], subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules to the contrary.

For any claim, please first contact contact@cybertool.fr. If unsuccessful, you may refer the matter to the consumer ombudsman.
